Facilitating Carbon Management Strategies for corporates.

We are a UAE-based social enterprise dedicated to driving climate action through innovative carbon management strategies for businesses. Our mission is to create meaningful social and environmental impact by facilitating investments in high-impact carbon reduction projects.

With a strong foundation in strategic leadership and management expertise, our team brings together years of experience from leading organizations. At Algocomm-NetZero, we aggregate and direct client investments into carbon reduction projects that not only help businesses achieve their sustainability goals but also support underserved communities. Through our global partnerships, we facilitate the generation of carbon credits by working with trusted project management companies and internationally recognized registries.

We manage the entire process from project identification and investment aggregation to carbon credit issuance and transfer, ensuring that our clients receive verified carbon credits that meet the highest global standards.

Mahesh Sundaresan

Managing Partner

Over three decades of experience across top agencies including Lintas, MAA Bozell in India, and Ikon Advertising, UAE—where he served as CEO & Partner from its start-up days in 1992 until April 2018.
A member of the ICOM Global Network for the Middle East and Africa until recently.
Key clients include Unilever, McDowell, Ajmal Perfumes, Acer, Samsung, Titan, Giordano, Mazda-Japan, Galadari Automobiles, Apollo Hospitals, and more. Led teams to multiple global, regional, and local awards.

Involved in CSR and sustainability projects including the UN World Food Program and ongoing Carbon Net Zero initiatives in India and Nepal.

Vineetha Mathew

Director – ESG & Carbon Impact

A sustainability and corporate responsibility expert with over 18 years of cross-sector experience. As the founder of Sustainable Mindz, she has developed tailored sustainability solutions for clients including Unilever, L’Oréal, Schneider Electric, and UAE government entities. Her expertise includes stakeholder engagement, risk mapping, materiality assessments, and social impact assessments. She also designed the Happiness @ Work Award framework to promote employee engagement and well-being. Formerly with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, she led sustainability programs for businesses. A recognized author and speaker, Vineetha is committed to advancing responsible business practices and creating measurable impact through sustainability innovation and strategic advisory.

Ahamed Shah

Lead – Strategy & Partnerships

A senior Marketing and Adtech leader with over 25 years of experience across India, the Middle East, Africa, CIS, and Nepal. He brings a proven track record in strategic marketing, brand building, and campaign management across B2B and B2C segments. His sector expertise spans telecom, electronics, IT, and retail, with leadership roles in marketing, distribution, and advertising agencies. In MEA, he has driven business and marketing initiatives for Tier-1 global mobile brands and leading corporates. Early engagement in government-recognized, student-led social programs laid the foundation for his long-standing involvement in CSR-focused client initiatives since 1995.

Water & Climate India Project WADI

Project WADI is a solar water disinfection project using WADI devices for 30,185 families in Jhabua, Khandwa and Barwani districts of Madhya Pradesh, India. The project is being implemented in partnership with Caritas India, a global non-profit active in the region working on water, health and livelihood areas with the local communities.

Circa 65,000 Verified Emission Reductions (VER) per year

Technology:

Provision of safe drinking water & reduction of CO2 emissions by replacing boiling water as the primary source of water treatment method with solar water disinfection (SODIS) with WADI, a clean and sustainable disinfection method.

Parties involved in the project: Caritas India, Khandwa Diocesan Social Services (KDSS), Pragati Sansthan, Earthood, CIC

SDG 1.1: Reduced expenditure on basic services (medical costs) due to adoption of project technology

SDG 1.4: Access to basic services (water treatment) for the population living in households

SDG 5: Reduction in day-to-day drudgery and time saving. Strengthening of women’s role as provider of safe drinking water.

“WADI” is an approved device for visualizing Solar Water Disinfection. This innovative approach to water purification replaces the boiling of water with firewood thus reducing CO2 emissions.

CIC’s Gold Standard Program covers 14 countries Asia: India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka Africa (potential): Ghana, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Uganda Focus on poorest communities primarily rural areas, although selectively may operate projects in urban slums/communities
